Catherine de Lafontaine ranked NUMBER 38 in the nation in the category of TOP 50 AGENTS BY TRANSACTIONS of the REAL ESTATE TOP 200. She was recognized in the November 11th-12th weekend 2006 edition of THE WALL STREET JOURNAL. There were over 1.35 million active real estate agents registered in the USA during this period.

In November of 2006, Mr. Richard A. Smith, Vice Chairman and President of Realogy Corporation recognized Catherine as “part of an elite group of professionals” and congratulated her on the “honor of being named to The Real Estate Top 200 by The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends”.

Also in November of 2006, she was recognized by Bruce G. Zipf, President and CEO of NRT Incorporated, for “extraordinary efforts that led to being cited in The Wall Street Journal…seen as one of the most significant professional accomplishments…a role model for others”.

Ms. de Lafontaine earned designation honors in the prestigious International President’s Premier Society for 2006, placing her in the TOP 1% of SALES GLOBALLY for Coldwell Banker, for production achieved in 2005.

In February of 2006, Catherine was the #1 agent for Coldwell Banker The Condo Store nationally in sales and was awarded the On-Site Salesperson of the Year West Coast Florida 2005.

In January of 2006, Ms. de Lafontaine earned status with NRT Incorporated’s Top 1000 Sales Associates, among 64,000 sales professionals nationally.

In July of 2005, she achieved a position among NRT Incorporated’s Top 1000 Sales Associates in over 35 major metropolitan areas. Coldwell Banker The Condo Store awarded Catherine Outstanding Attitude of the Year West Coast Florida for 2004.

Born in Montreal, Canada, Ms. de Lafontaine is fluent in both English and French. She graduated with a degree in Literature and Languages from Dawson College in Montreal, Quebec and holds an Associate of Arts Degree from Broward College in Coconut Creek, Florida.

Catherine has a real estate broker’s license in Florida.  She originally began her career as a licensed real estate agent in Georgia in 1997.
